In this article we will learn about how to perform mathematical functions in Adhoc.
Here, we will perform mathematical functions and analyze cost of travel by an employee using travel data.
Drag the columns “Employee Name” and “Cost”. On generating report, at the bottom, which may contain details of multiple travel by a single employee.
Now, to view the number of journeys made by each employee, apply “group by” function on Employee Name and “Count” function on cost column.

Similarly apply “Avg” for the average cost of travel, “Sum” for the total cost, “Max” for the maximum and “Min” for the minimum cost of travel. Click on generate report.

Now we can see that Alex has traveled total 22 times, with average cost per travel as 10,836 dollar approximately and total cost of travel as 2,38,400 dollars. Of all the 22 travels which he made, maximum and minimum cost was 62,000 and 600 dollar respectively.
