Usage of Styles in Canned Reporting

Creating Styles

First step is creating a style. For doing the same, in the Canned Reporting module, after clicking on Canvas go to Property, within that go to “Page Styles”.

We can see various options there

• Select Styles: If there are any already existing styles present, that we can see here in the dropdown. When that is selected, all those properties of that style will come, allowing to make changes etc.

There are a lot of other properties which covers things like font, color, alignment etc. You can make those selections as per requirement. You can read about all those properties in the latter section of this blog. Read here.

On any component, you can apply all the required styles in terms of border, shadow, color, font, alignment etc. Once you have made all the required style selection, at the bottom you have got an option to save that style by clicking on Add.

If you have opened an already existing style using Select Styles option, you can also make changes and then click on Update button. Delete button allows to delete any Style.

How to use Style

On which ever component you would like to apply this created style, click on that component. Then go to the “Text Field” option. You can see Style Name option which is a drop down. Click on it and select the required style. You can see multiple styles option also there in the drop down.

Automatically those properties will get applied. You can even select multiple components using the Ctrl button of your keyboard and then in a single action you can apply the Style to many components together.
