Adding Title to Donut Chart

In certain cases you may want to display the total value at the centre of the donut chart. In this blog, we shall see how to add title that displays the total at the centre of the donut.

The “Title Settings” customization script is used to show the value of the measure in donut chart. In order to apply the customization script, go to “Customize” section of the report create or report edit interface. This customization script is only available in Donut chart and not in Pie chart.


Double click on the Title Settings icon. A modal window will open as shown below


You can enable or disable the script by clicking on the toggle button. You can give the exact title you want to display in the centre. Here, we have written “Total”. Click on Ok.
You will see the Title Settings icon is highlighted. Click on the small tick to apply the script.


The title is displayed with the total of the values of the measure column.
