In this blog, we will learn how to display day of the year for a date (range: 1-366) from any date/date time column in Helical Insight.

1. Below you can see we are having a date in the format “YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SS”.



2. If we want to display day of the year for a date (range: 1-366), click on Travel Date column.



3. Click on more, user will get two options i.e., Quick and Advanced



4. Click on “Advanced” Tab, in this you will see a function called “dayofyear”. Double click on that function and then drag down the Travel Date column in the selected dayofyear function box at the bottom.click on Save button.



5. Click on “Generate” report. You will see the desired output as below.
