In this blog, we will see how to apply row banding in tabular report of Helical Insight. With row banding every alternate row can be given a different color in a table, thus assisting in and improving readability. In order to apply customization to the tabular report, click on the “Customize” button on report create or report edit page. Row Banding is applied in order to differentiate between consecutive rows. By default light grey and white row banding is applied for tabular reports. This can be changed by using the Row Banding script. Double click on the Row Banding icon to open the following modal window Click on the toggle button to define custom colors using the color picker for odd and even rows.
Click on Ok. The row banding icon will be highlighted. Click on the small tick to apply the customization. The customization is applied.
